Its technical design is characterized by the waviness of the horizontal wires and by meshes of different heights arranged symmetrically, this feature guarantees the strength of the vertical wires that ensure their stability, while the ripple of the horizontal wires simplifies the tension of the network. GALVANIZED WIRE BOX GABION

The box-shaped gabion is a rectangle-shaped structure, the walls of which consist of mesh mesh with dimensions 8×10 cm hexagonal double twist.
They are usually used for containment of unstable slopes, protection of embankments, bridle constructions, and gravity retaining walls.
The standard dimensions of the gabion provide a depth of 1 meter and length of 2 meters.

The net is made of low-carbon steel wire with a tensile strength between 350 and 550 N/mm2 and a minimum elongation at breakage of 8% or more. The edge of the walls is made up of the most diameter selvedge wire. The steel wire is protected against corrosion by coating with ZnAl alloy, possibly with additional PVC sheath.
Multiple dimensional variations are possible according to specific needs.

MATTRESSES IN METAL MESH

The mattress base is a parallelepiped-shaped system made with a double-twisted metal mesh, are used in the protection of channels, coatings for the banks of rivers and for erosion control. The 6×8 cm hexagonal mesh gives strength and permeability, making it suitable for multiple applications. In its standard configuration, it measures 3 meters long, 2 meters wide and 30 centimeters thick, ideal sizes for different needs. To ensure greater stability and resistance, there are reinforcement diaphragms positioned each meter perpendicular to the length.

The length can be customized from 3 to 6 meters, while the height is available in three variants: 17, 23 and 30 cm. The standard width of 2 meters can be changed on request.

The lid can be supplied separately or, usually, can be replaced by laying a net in rolls with the same characteristics in continuity on all mattresses

DOUBLE TWIST WIRE MESH

Double twist wire mesh is used in areas prone to landslide or rock fall or simply as a protective coating. It’s made with double-twist hexagonal meshes, with dimensions 8×10 cm. The single roll has a length of 50 m and a width of 2 or 3 meters. Multiple dimensional variations are possible according to specific requirements, with rolls width up to 4 meters.
Made with a steel wire that is protected from corrosion by coating with ZnAl5% alloy and possibly with additional PVC sheath. The thickness of the protective PVC is 0.5 mm.
